Welcome to Ruffdale. We are an online shop selling practical, hard-wearing gear for dogs in British weather.
Our aim is to make the wet half of the year easier: the drive home, the state of the dog afterwards, and the dark afternoons in between. We specialise in boot liners, seat covers, drying coats, paw cleaners, waterproof coats and mobility steps, and every product is chosen for that rather than for a photograph of a beach in July.
Who runs Ruffdale
Ruffdale is a trading name of FIXOLOGY LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales on 11 January 2022. Its sole director is Syed Fahid Hussain Gilani. The registered office is 47 Bradley Road, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU4 8SL, which is also the address returns are sent to.
Company number 13841533 · VAT number GB411334937. You can check the company against the public register at Companies House.
How the shop works
We are an online-only shop. There is no showroom to visit, and we do not hold stock in a UK warehouse at present. Orders are picked and shipped by our supply partner's warehouse outside the United Kingdom, which is why delivery is 5 to 11 working days rather than next day, and why we say so on the delivery page instead of burying it. If that changes, the delivery page will say so on the day it changes.
Every price includes UK VAT at 20% and delivery is free on every UK order with no minimum, so the price on the product page is the price you pay. We ship within the United Kingdom only.
What we hold ourselves to
- Practicality: everything is chosen for mud, rain and dark walks, not for looks alone.
- Honest information: real delivery windows, clear sizing, and a plain note on each product page about which dogs it suits and which it does not. We publish no customer reviews at all rather than seeded ones, and you will not find a countdown timer or a struck-through price the shop has never charged.
- Customer service: a published phone number answered by a person, and emails answered within one working day.
- No electric shock collars. They are banned in Wales and we will not stock them anywhere.
